Scope of Our Operations and Supply Chains

Our services include domestic and commercial rubbish removal, waste collection, and related support activities. Our supply chains primarily consist of equipment and vehicle providers, waste transfer and recycling facilities, protective clothing suppliers, office services, and labour agencies.

We recognise that certain areas of the waste and recycling sector can be vulnerable to exploitation, particularly where low-skilled, temporary, or migrant labour is used. We therefore take particular care in assessing the risk of modern slavery in our sector and within the suppliers we choose.

Supplier Standards and Audit Process

Rubbish Removal Bow expects all suppliers and business partners to share our commitment to preventing modern slavery. We require suppliers to comply with all applicable labour, employment, and human rights laws and to uphold fair and safe working conditions.

As part of our supplier due diligence and audit process, we may carry out the following measures: requesting information on labour practices, recruitment methods, and use of subcontractors; reviewing contracts to ensure they include appropriate clauses on compliance with modern slavery legislation; undertaking risk-based checks and, where appropriate, site visits to higher risk suppliers such as labour agencies and waste processing partners; and requiring corrective action plans where non-compliance or concerns are identified.

Where a supplier is unwilling or unable to demonstrate adequate measures to prevent modern slavery, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate the business relationship.

Employee Awareness, Training, and Responsibilities

All employees are made aware of our Modern Slavery Statement and zero-tolerance policy as part of their induction and ongoing communication. Managers with responsibility for procurement, recruitment, and supplier relationships receive additional guidance on identifying risks and responding to concerns.

We treat all concerns seriously and will investigate them promptly and sensitively. Confidentiality will be respected as far as possible, and individuals raising concerns in good faith will not suffer retaliation or detriment for speaking up.
